E. Osceola/Greeley Pond Slide 02-19-2017

Skied the Greeley Pond Slide on E. Osceola on Sunday. The snow was really sticky but plenty of it. Some older tracks were visible in places but we had the place to ourselves. I managed to get over the ice bulges and skin all the way to the top without removing my skis, although others in the group opted for crampons. The XC trail through the notch was in great shape, too. Hopefully there is enough base to survive the warm weather this week.

Impressive wallag, you're getting around! Hiked up to this earlier this season without skis. You may have hit prime for 2017 or very close to it.

Yes, I suspect at this point the warm weather has ruined all the streambed skiing...
