Better than expected

Postby devkrev » Wed Mar 23, 2011 3:48 pm

EB and myself decided to do some skiing today, the thaw/freeze/slop/freeze cycles left us somewhat in the dark about what was going to be good(if at all).

A short trip to the local shot provided to be a good adventure, and the skiing was better than expected. There was a firm crust under 1-2" of soft powdery goodness.

We had planned on heading towards a more storied destination, but I was glad we hadn't, Where we headed was very lightly trodden, which made for blissful turns.

Overall it had been much better than expected...

That's some good looking tree skiing, care to give any location clues? :)
Measure the ascent not in miles hiked, but in turns earned.
