Had good day at skiblackmountain.org (Rumford, ME.) on Fri. Feb.3 during their 100th anniversary Chisholm Ski Club celebration. Was a great ad-venture exploring glades on Black Mt. Pretty skiable on top of solid crusty styrofoam and 2-3" powder cover....Found things like "The Wild", "Crooked", "St.John", "Allagash Woods", and "Hardscrabble", not to mention the "Beavers". Just unbelievable work / expansion!!! Can't wait for some fresh cover to explore beyond and BC! There is in the works, expansion above the lift and routes to R. Whitecap and "Backside" toward Swain's Pond......$20 Fridays, $37 Weekends/Holidays.
