If you need a fix here's a place that won't bust your financials @ $15 Fri/Sat/Sun and all this week (holidays). With the fresh 4" to 5" powder (2/18) on top of last Fridays dump should be excellent in the Angry Beaver Glades! There are stashes to discover here including BC excursions above the lift to the Summit and perhaps a fresh powder run down Black Mtn. (hiking) Trail back to the Lodge with a possible detour down a fall line logging chute or perhaps try the "Black and White" Trail to Rumford Whitecap? May try that tomorrow, follow the tracks or white blazes (but IT'S an unknown 1000' vertical adventure!) No crowds (unfortunately for them) and cool new Lodge and tip top shack makes this a little gem with more than 1000' vert. and some fairly challenging terrain hidden here and there and not all groomed along with a beginner lift/area, and the Angry Beavers are still at work.....Crosscountry and tubing too: skiblackmountain.org
