Day one of five:
I could so I did. Weather very nice, nice snow on the margins, lots of scraped to leaves, ice and rock...
Around 2:20 took a little trip South on the LT to look over the view through blasted spruce on the sunny side of the mountain. While I was at it, nabbed some turns and wallowed back up...
A pleasant start to a 5 day vacation. Fingers crossed for Monday.
Day Two:
Still could so I did...
Light snow as we arrived and for the first couple of runs. Did some wandering off the beaten track. Music from Asleep at the Wheel and Buena Vista Social Club...worked out pretty well.
As suspected, a couple places up high were okay but in general another 18" to 2 feet sorely needed. Snow stake tells a dismal tale. Low angle: yada yada. LA was goodish early, slickish later. Chute was better. Rat was good....
Lines short, not quite enough rest between laps, most vert I've managed this season. Snow started falling just as we got back to the cabin.
