I've got to hand it to the snow making crew at WaWa. In spite of that brutal soaking rain last weekend and no new snow, the conditions wern't half bad last night. Sure there were some hard spots but, for the most part, it was carvable base with some loose snow on top. Lower Smith Walton was absolutely perfect for laying over and digging trenches. The snow was FAST and grippy.

They are blowing snow like mad trying to get as much down before the next monsoon rolls through tomorrow. Hopefully they will recover from this one as gracefully as the last.
