New England Telemark's schedule

Postby Biff » Mon Jan 23, 2006 8:39 am

In addition to our big telemark festivals we have added a number of "Tele Daze" as well as two two day backcountry clinics. At Tele Daze we will be offering all day clinics along with all the demo gear you can ask for. The demos are free, the clinics are group lessons available at very reasonable prices. If you have been wanting to take an all day group lesson in a fun easy learning atmosphere here is your chance. Check our web page for more info. www.netelemark.com

For years now we have been asked why we don't offer all day backcountry clinics. Well the time has arrived. A course designed for
intermediate/advanced skiers will be taught by some of our finest
backcountry instructors. The first day will be spent on piste at
Wildcat ski area and the second day on the exciting terrain of Mt.
Washington's Sherborne trail. These clinics may fill early so consider
signing up sooner than later.

We are excited to announce a new partnership. NET along with 22 Design and Karhu will be introducing a new concept in instruction. We will be offering a clinic/program called "The Hammerhead Solution". 22 Design and Karhu have been kind enough to supply us with a fleet of Kodiak skis mounted with the revolutionary hammerhead binding. For those students having trouble steering and weighting their back foot/rear ski we have found that the Hammerhead binding placed in it's more active position can facilitate steering. We have also found the Kodiak to be an excellent all around ski. The clinics will be offered free at all of our telemark festivals and will be made available to students on Tele Daze.

Have you wondered what happened to telemark racing? Well NET along with the USTA are working at bringing back a big USTA race to the east coast. We are looking at Gunstock so stay tuned.

Cheers,

Biff
