Details:

Who needs chairlifts? Use your lungs to skin halfway up South Peak, and then race back to down the mountain.

There will be separate alpine touring and telemark divisions, with some sweet prizes. Start training now!

Registration: 7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Pemi Base Camp Lodge.

Entry Fee: $40, with discounted lift tickets available at registration.

Race Start: 9:00 a.m. at the base of South Peak.

Is this event the race only? No demo/clinics?

I have a friend coming with who wants to try tele and would like to take a lesson with other newbies. She can't make the Cannon date.
