I grew up in a tiny community, along the NY state thruway, named Plattekill. I still have family and childhood friends there so I get back there at least one a year. I'll have to ski at Plattekill Mountain one of these times.

My family had a little ski cabin very near there (grand Gorge) so we used to ski there all the time (and Hunter and Windam). It was a great little area. Must have had the longest t-bar in NY.

P-kill might not have the longest t-bar, but it does have the slowest!
(it might be gone, it has been a while since I have been there).
I am going to try to be there.
