You ran, you hiked, you kayaked, you swam, you road biked, you mountain biked and you played 120 rounds of Frisbee golf. Oh, and you shot a bunch of skeet. But with 8 weeks until the lifts spin, now is the time to start your ski-specific training. All that repetitive activity is good for cardio and keeps your weight in check but it does very little for your awesome ski prowess. Balance, short-duration strength and flexibility should be the focus until you actually get onto the snow. If you have activities that you like or see articles that are helpful, please share them.
