Nice Benny! Were you on a hut to hut trip, or just up for the night?

We hiked to the summit on Friday and dropped down to the Lakes hut for the night. On Saturday we hiked to the Mizpah hut and hiked down from there on Sunday.

I paddled a 16 mile stretch of the upper Connecticut last Sunday, taking advantage of high water due to the shit-ton of rain we got in May and early June. Making lemonade out of lemons, you might say. This is the Columbia covered bridge, between Colebrook and North Stratford. What a beautiful stretch of river! Thanks to Bob T. for information on navigating the old Lyman Falls dam. Sorry about the size of the photo, but Photobucket has become absolutely useless. I'll need to explore other free photo hosting software.
