New to Tele - first set of skis

Read reviews and tests of all the newest gear courtesy of Eric Fey and Telemarkdown.
Got some skis you like and want to share the vibe? Tried some skis at a demo and hated them? Cool boots that have a great flex? Share it here. Questions about mounting bindings, waxing and sharpening skis? Ask away...and here is a chance for all the shop geeks out there to show us what they know.

A forum of tele poems would be very neat.
It might boost up our numbers
and brighten our look.

But my fear is that as it built up some heat,
Williamtele might notice and
move it to Face-book.

This website has nothing to prove
But adding poems would sure add to its groove
But its readers...would it bore 'em?
How about ANOTHER forum?
About how your writing skills you could improve.

Well of course Summer is coming and we know what that means…
No one's around and the posting here gets quite lean.
If we could find something cool to add to the treads,
to keep people from Facebook and come here instead,
then maybe some poems just might do the trick
(although frankly car crashes would be a better pick)
or maybe we could all get together and sing
or we do that naked telemark calendar thing…
A talent show! Dancing. Cats being cute!!
Rob smoking a cigar while playing the flute!
Big boats, new bikes, a furry dog that sings..
Pictures of people doing dumb things.
Expensive cars and clothes and big fancy homes……….

or I guess we could just stick with the poems.
The only "normal" people are the ones you don't know.

How did the 86 work out for tele? Is it soft enough?

Have not been on the site in quite a while. Due to some health issues last summer, I did not get out as much as I would have liked last winter.
My very belated response is that the 86s are good. Soft enough for someone my height/weight and for carving hardpack. Main issue is the skill of the guy standing on them...
