Like New, used only once on a short demo tour to see if the size was right and worn indoors. No dings, scuffs or scratches. No stink or sweat.

They are just too tight for me...

These are the new style with the metal, micro-adjust buckles:

Re: Scott Excursion 27.5

Postby phoenix » Sun Jan 08, 2017 11:48 am

Hi Mike,
I haven't had a look at the Scott versions of the Excursion; is the liner some sort of closed cell foam ( Intuition like ) or still constructed like the Garmont's? If it's no hassle, a pic of the liner itself would be appreciated.
I'm thinking Im a 27.5 in Garments, I measure a US men's 9.5 on a Bannock. Always worn Scarpa's (T-1 and T-2's), in those I can go with a 26 or a 27 shell, but I never felt good trying on the Garmont's in the past smaller than 27.5.

Thanks! Joseph

Hi Joseph,

I'm sorry I don't know what the Garmont liner was like, but I know there were different iterations of these boots.

As far as I know it is not a thermomoldable liner like Intuition, but it may be closed cell foam for the padding.

Here are the pictures, I hope that helps:
